Hey, Queer Crushers! I’m here to report that it’s somehow May already, and you know what that means: Pride Month is just around the corner! We’re pulling out all the stops this year — keep reading for some special announcements (perhaps a new gym joining the QC family? 👀)

But no need to jump the gun — we’ve got an exciting month planned with some super sick outdoor trips and all of your favorite monthly meetups. Oh, and here’s a quick look back at Queer Crush’s April:

Get ready for some extra special events and opportunities from QC this Pride Month. New meetups? Merch?? Who knows … Okay, I do:

• NEW MEETUP SPOT! This June, Hanger 18 Riverside will be joining the Queer Crush family. Stay tuned for info about the inaugural meetup.

• MERCH! We have new merch, and it’ll be available online starting in June. (If you want an early pick, I guess you’ll just have to show up to one of our May meetups.) In the meantime, you can still grab some of our old (but equally cute) stuff on our online store.

• COLLABS!

  • Wed 5/28 @ Long Beach Rising: Arc’teryx + Escalemos + QC joint venture with a DJ, free coffee and pastries, live silk screen-printing and a guest speaker from an indigenous tribe to speak on Latin American indigenous cultures, particularly third genders, including the “Muxe” and the “Two-Spirit” concept, which predate Spanish colonization. Stay tuned for more info on our IG.

  • Sun 6/1 @ Dogpatch Boulders (SF): Be there. We’ll kick off pride month with a three-way joint meetup with Escalemos and Latino Outdoors!

Indigenous people have called this land home since time immemorial. Get to know your area’s local Indigenous people and tribes, and read about the topics and issues affecting Native folks across the country.
