Hi gay! Happy pride month!
Tis the season of Target’s questionably-designed pride collection, rainbow airline and bank floats parading down Main Street, and a little more face glitter than normal — oh and a ton of cool, intersectional queer crush events.
Look how fun our May looked! Doesn’t it just make you wanna climb with us? (That’s rhetorical, obviously.)
A little sick of the Corporate Pride™ vibe? We’ve got you covered with a ton of intersectional, exciting events this month to celebrate our queerness and build community. Plus, pretty much all of our monthly meetups have something extra special planned this month, but here are a few highlights:
Special Pride Events!
Sun June 1, 3-6pm: Mega Meetup at Dogpatch Boulders (SF): Be there. We’ll kick off Pride Month with a four-way joint meetup with Escalemos, Latino Outdoors, and Wall Dolls! RSVP
Sat June 14, 7:30-11pm: Pride night climb at Stoney Point in L.A. County. Sign-ups and details coming soon! Join our Discord channel to stay up to date.
Merch
We have new merch, and it’s now available online. (I promise it’s cooler than Target’s … not that it’s a competition.) Sport a brand new “be gay, do climbs” tee or tank — a helpful reminder in case you ever forget what to do at one of our meetups.

2025 Climb the Wall for Palestine
This global climb-a-thon is happening again! Registration is open now, and climbing kicks off May 30 and runs until the end of June. As queer climbers, we recognize that our struggles for equal rights are intertwined with equal human rights for people everywhere. The same systems that work to oppress any population of people will also be used to oppress queer community.
As such, Queer Crush has played a major role in the global climb-a-thon by engaging our community and hosting meetups — where we create a dialog with our members and encourage people to climb for Palestine.
The land we climb on
Indigenous people have called this land home since time immemorial. Get to know your area’s local Indigenous people and tribes, and read about the topics and issues affecting Native folks across the country.
